Action Pistol Range

Competitive Shooting = Great practice with your Firearm!

The Rifle / Pistol range does not have firearms available for rent!

If you would like to learn how to shoot in competition, please join us for an exciting Action Pistol season. We draw a wide range of competitors, from beginners to seasoned veterans and everyone has a good time. Our matches begin at 6:00 PM at the CCKC Rifle Range.

NOTE: Registration will close at 6:15PM for safety reasons – you must attend the walk through to shoot. Each match is an individual competition  so join us for whichever match date you can make. The only person you are competing against is yourself.

The match fees are $15 for CCKC Bristol Ranges members and $20 for non-members. We run about 4 stages a night and all matches are on WEDNESDAY EVENINGS.

Weather Cancellations:

All our Action Pistol matches are held outdoors, so remember to bring bug spray, sunscreen, water etc. as necessary.

We will shoot rain or shine, however if there is a prolonged lightning storm the match will be cancelled.

Please join us and bring a friend!

SAFETY- Our number one priority

We run a COLD RANGE – meaning that all firearms must remain cased until the shooter is called to the start line. This procedure keeps everyone safely behind the line of fire.

Eye and ear protection is mandatory for competitors and spectators alike.

We welcome junior shooters (12 -18 years of age) who must be accompanied by a parent and have the experience, knowledge, and attitude necessary to safely handle a firearm.

PLEASE NOTE: only uncase your firearms at the start line when directed to do so by the Range Officer – otherwise you will incur a safety disqualification and we don’t want that to happen!
